Kambô sacred ceremony, Auckland

Kambô ceremony introduction

You’re warmly invited to a Sacred Kambô Ceremony in Blockhouse Bay, Auckland with Jiri Hanus (IAKP Master Practitioner) and Samantha May (live sound journey).

Our Kambô ceremonies follow the international practices of the IAKP and honor the traditional teachings of Amazonian tribes. The Kambô used in our sessions comes directly from the Matsés tribe on the Peru–Brazil frontier of the Amazon rainforest.

What to Expect

We hold a respectful, supportive, and safe space for people coming to work with Kambô. Ceremonies are conducted in a private environment with groups of 3–15 people and take about 5–7 hours overall. We have a dedicated support team for each ceremony, scaled to the number of participants.

Kambô ceremony group setting

Each session starts with an introduction to the practice and clear guidance on what to expect, followed by an opening sharing circle. Extra care is given to first-time participants, using a gentle approach to introduce the point and build a safe relationship with Kambô.

Opening circle and preparation

The treatment unfolds in a ceremonial setting, supported by live music. We draw on more than 10 years’ experience serving Kambô to provide a deep and rewarding cleanse, tailored to each participant’s readiness to receive and hold Kambô

The primary effects are strong and immediate, but typically resolve within 30–40 minutes. During the ceremony it is possible to receive more Kambô or Rapé, if appropriate.

Towards the end of the ceremony, we offer an integration time held by a live sound journey, supporting deep relaxation and, for some, insights and reconnection with self at a core level.

Integration and relaxation space

Our sessions finish with a light meal, a short sharing, and closing of the circle. Most people are fine to drive afterwards and typically to work the next day. Learn more about Kambô ceremonies.
