Kambô crossed my path in 2011 when I had my first ceremony with Giovanni Lattanzi in the Czech Republic. That practice left a deep impression, offering a profound source of healing and transformation. Shortly after, I moved from my home country to Aotearoa, but found no access to the medicine here. As a result, I began traveling back to Europe and South America to deepen my understanding and connection with Kambô, experiencing a variety of different ceremonial styles.

In 2016, I trained with Master Practitioner Karen Kanya-Darke under the International Association of Kambô Practitioners (IAKP.org) and became a certified practitioner, bringing Kambô to New Zealand. Since then, I have been hosting regular monthly ceremonies in Auckland, Wellington and Tauranga, as well as offering sessions in other cities across Aotearoa. In 2017, my journey led me deep into the Amazon, to the Peruvian-Brazilian border, where I learned the traditional use of Kambô directly from the Matsés tribe. This firsthand experience with the indigenous people and the Kambô frog instilled in me a profound respect for this ancient practice, its people, and its spirit.

Over the subsequent years, I completed my IAKP Advanced Practitioner training, followed by certifications as a Kambô Trainer and Master Kambô Practitioner. My journey of service through Kambô continues to be a humbling and transformative experience.

As of 2024 I run monthly Kambô ceremonies in Tauranga and Auckland, and train people interested to work with this powerful warrior spirit medicina on their own.

Beyond Kambô, I lead transformative workshops and residential retreats that incorporate various modalities such as sweat lodges, firewalking, drumming, dance, and breathwork—all aimed at helping participants tap into the body's healing potential and connect with their inner wisdom. I have a deep interest in practices that induce non-ordinary states of consciousness, exploring the profound insights they can offer. My passion for conscious/ecstatic dance led me to facilitate a unique blindfolded version known as Trance Dance Ritual. I am also certified in OSHO Dynamic Meditations, powerful practices designed to guide the modern mind into deep meditative states. Finally, I am a certified Holotropic Breathwork practitioner through Grof Transpersonal Training, which focuses on inducing altered states of consciousness similar to psychoactive experiences through one of the original Breathwork modalities.
